John Horne has offerred to make himself available to run free of charge a session at Peterlee covering post AFF L7/8, post Cat 8, pre A/B Cert, CH briefings over the afternoon of Sat 7 Feb/Sun 8 Feb. Whilst these are also currently offerred free of charge at Peterlee to jumpers on an adhoc basis this will be a formalised session initially class room/ground training room based covering such as those mandatory CH briefings required for FAI A & B Certificates. There will be no registration fee for this and John is expecting no payment (although he will be staying over Sat evening and I would hope he wouldn't have to buy a beer in the bar). Should time & opportunity arise some practical sessions will also be run where normal Para Drop (PD) Flt charges will apply for any aircraft lifts undertaken - the Centre will fund John's PD Flts where his in air supervsion and assessment is required. This a great opportunity for post AFF L7/8, Cat 8, FAI A Cert Holders and I would encourage our regular jumpers of such experience to attend. For the future we also have the 3 Way FS Scrambles Meet coming up on 7 March and I have bid for a BPA FS Roadshow for later that month too. This briefing session is not exclusive to Peterlee Regulars, visiting jumpers are welcome too, where required and availability permits bunkhouse accommodation is available for £5.00 B&B/pppn
