It looks like the planning committe hearing to consider the application for a 50m/164ft Wind Monitoring Mast just 300m NE of the airfield boundary is to be delayed until probably now Tue 3 Feb 09. That said the deadline for comments on, and objections to, the application remains Christmas Eve (please this is not a joke). There are a number of you that I would be very grateful if you would raise your own objections to this proposal as well as to register to speak on the night as you have all done so well before and for which we would again be extremely grateful. If as has been the case in the past speakers could be very brief 1/2 minute contributions & avoiding any overlap. The meeting is likely to be at 6pm at Easington Council Offices on tue 3 Feb 09. Well ive stated my objection and ive also registered my intention to speak.

Hopefully a presedence will also be set this time round.
